How the currency converter works
The calculator uses the Polish zloty (PLN) as the base currency. Each currency has an assigned rate: how many PLN equal 1 unit of that currency (rates as of 2026-06-10): 1 EUR = 4.27 PLN 1 USD = 3.92 PLN 1 GBP = 4.98 PLN 1 CHF = 4.42 PLN 1 CZK = 0.173 PLN 1 HUF = 0.0104 PLN 1 NOK = 0.36 PLN 1 SEK = 0.37 PLN 1 DKK = 0.572 PLN 1 UAH = 0.095 PLN Algorithm: result = amount × rate_from / rate_to. Example: converting 100 EUR to PLN and other currencies

How does the currency converter calculate the result?
The converter uses the Polish zloty (PLN) as an intermediate base currency. It first converts the input amount to PLN using the source currency rate, then divides by the target currency rate. Formula: result = amount × rate_from / rate_to.

The indicative NBP rate as of 2026-06-10 is 1 EUR = 4.27 PLN. Keep in mind that bank and exchange office rates may differ from the NBP mid-rate by a few percent.

An indicative rate means the value shown is for approximation only and may differ from the rate available at the time of an actual transaction. Currency rates change in real time on financial markets.
