Check your grade average in seconds. The calculator computes both the arithmetic mean (all grades weighted equally) and the weighted average (where more important grades count more). Works for the Polish 1–6 scale, university 2–5 scale, or any numeric grading system.
Weighted average = Σ(grade_i × weight_i) / Σ(weight_i). Arithmetic average = Σ(grade_i) / n. Weights allow important grades (e.g. exams) to count more than minor ones (e.g. quizzes).
Grades: 5 (weight 2), 4 (weight 1), 3 (weight 1), 5 (weight 2), 4 (weight 1). Weighted average = (5×2 + 4×1 + 3×1 + 5×2 + 4×1) / (2+1+1+2+1) = 31 / 7 ≈ 4.43. Arithmetic average = (5+4+3+5+4) / 5 = 4.20.
