How we calculate flight time

Flight time in hours = number of minutes ÷ 60, rounded to 2 decimal places. The time zone offset is an informational value — the difference in hours between the departure and destination time zones. To calculate the arrival time in local destination time: departure time (local departure) + flight time in hours + time zone difference = arrival time (local destination time). A negative offset means the destination is behind the departure time zone.

Example: Warsaw to Bangkok

The flight from Warsaw to Bangkok takes approximately 570 minutes (9 hrs 30 min). Bangkok is UTC+7, Poland is UTC+1 in winter, so the time difference is +6 hours. If the plane departs at 10:00 Warsaw time, after 9 hrs 30 min it is 19:30 Warsaw time — but in Bangkok it is already 01:30 the next day (19:30 + 6 hours). The calculator shows: flight time = 9.5 h, time zone offset = +6.
